Thousands of runners took part in the record breaking 2014 Tees Pride 10k and 3k Fun Run events.

More than 2,500 people raced in the 10k Middlesbrough road race with nearly 900 enjoying the 3k.

First over the finishing line in the big one was Wondiyefihire Indeldu with a time of 31 minutes flat.

The first woman to cross the line was Josephine Stone in 35m 41s.

Councillor Tracy Harvey, Middlesbrough Council's Executive Member for Environment, said: "It was a fantastic event and I would like to thank everyone involved and who took part for making it such a great success. We just need to catch our breath and then we can start looking forward to next year's event."
